My name is Aimee Flint. I have recently relocated to Puerto Rico from North Carolina. I had a career in the music industry for more than 20 years of which 11 were spent as the Director of Operations for the Grammy Nominated soul duo The Foreign Exchange.
In late November 2012, I made the decision I was done looking in the mirror at an image that didn’t match my interior. I found an interest for fitness through my very first Power Pilates mat class, indirectly beginning my journey as an instructor and my passion for change through physical health. But that was only the start. I quickly learned I loved obstacle course racing and challenging my body and mind. This pushed me into Ninja Warrior style competitions where in March 2020 I became National Ninja League’s 1st Place Masters Female.
I have been a certified Intermediate Power Pilates Mat Instructor since September 2013, TRX certified in September 2014 and ACE certified Personal Trainer in February 2021.
In July of 2016, I unknowingly tore my left ACL and then the right ACL in February 2018 (that one was caught on video and streamed online during my National Ninja League’s World Championship Course run) and opted for Bilateral ACL Reconstruction + Meniscus repair in June 2018.
In June 2019 I began my mental health journey and honestly, that’s where the real work began.
